The necessary changes for Firefox 3.0 support have now been integrated upstream. You can install the latest version from the AWS website.

The upstream code is now also hosted at a sourceforge project you can find at Sourceforge.

Perhaps setting the maxVersion to 3.0b* would be appropriate?

I am now using Hardy RC and firefox version is now 3.0b5,
